New York High School Softball - Queensbury bounces Amsterdam

The Queensbury Spartans (Queensbury, NY) softball routed the visiting Amsterdam Rams (Amsterdam, NY), 23-4 in Friday's league bout.
The Spartans (7-1) will now prepare for their bout against Scotia-Glenville (Scotia, NY). The Tartans go into the Section 2 Foothills bout with a 1-1 record. In their last bout, Scotia-Glenville toppled Amsterdam (Amsterdam, NY), 18-5, in a league bout.
The Rams now possess a 0-3 record. They play next when they travel to Fonda-Fultonville for a non-league bout on Tuesday, April 26. Amsterdam will confront a Braves squad coming off a 8-5 league win over Berne-Knox-Westerlo (Berne, NY). The Braves record now stands at 5-1.
