California High School Softball - Brawley knocked off by Helix

April 22, 2022: La Mesa, CA 91941

In Friday's non-league contest, the Helix Highlanders (La Mesa, CA) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Brawley Wildcats (Brawley, CA), by a margin of 14-3.

With the triumph, Helix moves its record to 16-5 on the year. The Highlanders host El Capitan (Lakeside, CA) to play the Vaqueros in a Grossmont Hills contest on Tuesday, April 26. The Vaqueros come into the contest with a record of 16-5. El Capitan won 3-2 in their recent league contest against Steele Canyon (Spring Valley, CA)

In their next game, the Wildcats play the Holtville Vikings (Holtville, CA) in a Imperial Valley contest, on Wednesday, April 27. Brawley will attempt to move on its 15-6 season record. The Vikings come into the contest with a 13-7 record after their 7-3 non-league loss to Faith Lutheran (Las Vegas, NV).
