The West Branch Warriors softball team scored 10 runs and limited the visiting Chardon Hilltoppers to 5 in the Warriors non-league triumph on Friday.

With the triumph, West Branch improves its record to 9-2 on the year. The Warriors host Ursuline (Youngstown, OH) to clash with the Fighting Irish in a non-league game on Monday, April 25. The Fighting Irish come into the game with a record of 9-1.

In their next game, the Hilltoppers clash with the Riverside Beavers (Painesville, OH) in a Western Reserve game, on Saturday, April 23. Chardon will attempt to improve on its 7-4 season record. The Beavers come into the game with a 7-1 record after their 11-3 league win over Kenston (Chagrin Falls, OH).
