Defiance Bulldogs (Defiance, OH) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Kenton Wildcats (Kenton, OH), 8-0 in a league challenge.

The Bulldogs now own a 7-5 record. They take the field next when they host Southview for a Northern Lakes challenge on Saturday, April 23. Defiance will face a Cougars squad coming off a 11-6 non-league loss to Whitmer (Toledo, OH). The Cougars record now stands at 5-7.

With the loss, Kenton falls to 2-4 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Wapakoneta (Wapakoneta, OH) to face the Redskins in a Western Buckeye challenge on Tuesday, April 26. The Redskins enter the challenge with a record of 4-1.
