Elk Grove Thundering Herd (Elk Grove, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Dublin Gaels (Dublin, CA), 10-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Thundering Herd now own a 15-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Franklin for a Delta League challenge on Monday, April 25. Elk Grove will battle a Wildcats squad coming off a 14-1 non-league win over Armijo (Fairfield, CA). The Wildcats record now stands at 9-10.

With the loss, Dublin falls to 5-12 on the campaign. The Gaels travel to Tracy (Tracy, CA) to battle the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 23. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a record of 13-3. Tracy won 13-9 in their recent league challenge against Tokay (Lodi, CA)
