Valley Regional Warriors (Deep River, CT) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Hale Ray Noises (Moodus, CT), 6-2 in a league challenge.

The Warriors now own a 3-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Coginchaug Regional for a non-league challenge on Monday, April 25. Valley Regional will battle a Blue Devils squad coming off a 13-5 league win over North Branford (North Branford, CT). The Blue Devils record now stands at 7-1.

With the loss, Hale Ray falls to 1-6 on the campaign. The Noises travel to Cromwell (Cromwell, CT) to battle the Panthers in a Shoreline - Large challenge on Monday, April 25. The Panthers enter the challenge with a record of 8-1. Cromwell won 6-0 in their recent league challenge against Old Lyme (Old Lyme, CT)
