In Friday's non-league contest, the Walsh Jesuit Warriors (Cuyahoga Falls, OH) softball team overwhelmed the host Independence Blue Devils (Independence, OH), by a margin of 10-4.
With the triumph, Walsh Jesuit moves its record to 4-1 on the year. The Warriors travel to Hoover (North Canton, OH) to play the Vikings in a non-league contest on Saturday, April 23. In their next game, the Blue Devils play the Kenston Bombers (Chagrin Falls, OH) in a non-league contest, on Friday, April 22. Independence will attempt to move on its 5-2 season record. The Bombers come into the contest with a 3-3 record after their 11-1 league loss to Riverside (Painesville, OH).
