Lincoln Trojans (Stockton, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Roseville Tigers (Roseville, CA), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Trojans now own a 14-4 record. They take the field next when they host St. Mary's for a Tri-City Athletic League challenge on Monday, April 25. Lincoln will battle a Rams squad coming off a 11-2 non-league win over Notre Dame (Salinas, CA). The Rams record now stands at 15-5.

With the loss, Roseville falls to 13-7 on the campaign. The Tigers host Woodcreek (Roseville, CA) to battle the Timberwolves in a Capital Valley Conference challenge on Monday, April 25. The Timberwolves enter the challenge with a record of 12-7. Woodcreek lost 4-0 in their recent league challenge against Yuba City (Yuba City, CA)
