The Princeton Tigers softball team scored 5 runs and limited the host Morrison Mustangs to 2 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Friday.

With the triumph, Princeton improves its record to 9-2 on the year. The Tigers travel to Seneca (Seneca, IL) to clash with the Fighting Irish in a non-league game on Saturday, April 23. The Fighting Irish come into the game with a record of 11-2. Seneca won 6-5 in their recent league game against Marquette (Ottawa, IL)

In their next game, the Mustangs clash with the Erie-Prophetstown Panthers (Erie, IL) in a Three Rivers game, on Monday, April 25. Morrison will attempt to improve on its 1-3 season record. The Panthers come into the game with a 6-1 record after their 3-0 league win over Sherrard (Sherrard, IL).
