Spectators at Friday's non-league match between the St. Anthony Bulldogs (Effingham, IL) and the host Nokomis Redskins (Nokomis, IL), witnessed St. Anthony's softball squad prevail over Nokomis by a count of 19-7.

The Bulldogs now sport a 14-3 record. They play next when they travel to Dieterich for a National Trail match on Monday, April 25. St. Anthony will meet a Movin Maroons squad coming off a 7-6 league loss to Neoga (Neoga, IL). The Movin Maroons record now stands at 4-12.

With the loss, Nokomis moves to 4-6 on the season. The Redskins host Calvary/Lutheran (Springfield, IL) to meet the Saints in a MSM match on Saturday, April 23. The Saints go into the match with a record of 3-7. Calvary/Lutheran lost 4-3 in their recent league match against Pawnee (Pawnee, IL)
