The Alcoa Tornadoes the host Notre Dame Fighting Irish baseball team by a count of 8-3 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Tornadoes now possess a 8-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Sequoyah for a non-league bout on Monday, April 24. Alcoa will face a Chiefs team coming off a 10-3 non-league loss to Carter (Strawberry Plains, TN). The Chiefs record now stands at 10-12.
Next, the Fighting Irish face the McMinn County Cherokees (Athens, TN) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, April 25. Notre Dame will attempt to move on its 4-13 season record.
