The Sherman Bearcats baseball team scored 3 runs and limited the visiting Anna Coyotes to 2 in the Bearcats non-league victory on Saturday.
The Bearcats (12-13) will now prepare for their match against Denison (Denison, TX). The Yellow Jackets go into the 5A Region II District 13 match with a 16-10 record. In their last match, Denison was edged by Rider (Wichita Falls, TX), 7-4, in a non-league match.
The Coyotes (10-17) will now prepare for their match against Celina (Celina, TX). The Bobcats go into the 4A Region II District 11 match with a 24-4 record. In their last match, Celina edged Panther Creek (Frisco, TX), 13-0, in a league match.
