Illinois High School Baseball - Bloom defeats Blue Island Eisenhower

Bloom Blazing Trojan (Chicago Heights, IL) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Blue Island Eisenhower Cardinals (Blue Island, IL), 10-5 in a non-league test.

With the win, Bloom upgrades its record to 5-7 on the season. The Blazing Trojan host Thornridge (Dolton, IL) to battle the Falcons in a Southland contest on Monday, April 24. The Falcons enter the contest with a record of 0-5. Thornridge lost 25-2 in their recent league contest against Rich Township (Olympia Fields, IL)

The Cardinals now sport a 1-11 record. They take the field next when they travel to Reavis for a South Suburban - Blue contest on Monday, April 24.
