The Columbia Blue Devils the visiting Ichabod Crane Riders baseball team by a count of 5-1 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Blue Devils now possess a 7-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Saratoga Springs for a Section 2 Suburban - Blue bout on Monday, April 24. Columbia will face a Blue Streaks team coming off a 7-0 league loss to Niskayuna (Niskayuna, NY). The Blue Streaks record now stands at 9-2.
Next, the Riders face the Albany Academy for Boys Cadets (Albany, NY) in a Section 2 Colonial bout, on Monday, April 24. Ichabod Crane will attempt to move on its 7-3 season record. The Cadets enter the bout with a 8-2 record after their 10-0 league win over Schalmont (Schenectady, NY).
