Connecticut High School Baseball - Portland loses to Ellington

In Saturday's non-league game, the visiting Ellington Knights baseball team scored a nice 14-3 victory over the Portland Highlanders.
The Knights (9-2) will now prepare for their game against Somers (Somers, CT). The Spartans go into the North Central Connecticut game with a 4-4 record. In their last game, Somers overcame Suffield (West Suffield, CT), 12-2, in a league game.
The Highlanders (1-8) will now prepare for their game against Valley Regional (Deep River, CT). The Warriors go into the non-league game with a 6-4 record. In their last game, Valley Regional ran past Edwin O. Smith (Storrs, CT), 9-1, in a non-league game.
