Connecticut High School Baseball - La Salle Academy loses to Fitch

The Fitch Falcons crushed the visiting La Salle Academy Rams baseball team by a tally of 9-3 in Saturday's non-league bout.

The Falcons now hold a 6-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to East Lyme for a Eastern Connecticut - Division I bout on Thursday, May 11. Fitch will face a Vikings team coming off a 9-2 non-league win over Glastonbury (Glastonbury, CT). The Vikings record now stands at 12-2.

Next, the Rams face the Smithfield Sentinels (Esmond, RI) in a Division 1 (State) bout, on Monday, May 8. La Salle Academy will attempt to advance on its 9-3 season record. The Sentinels enter the bout with a 4-9 record after their 6-2 league loss to Cumberland (Cumberland, RI).
