The Lynnfield Pioneers crushed the visiting Swampscott Big Blue baseball team by a count of 6-0 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Pioneers now possess a 5-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Ipswich for a non-league bout on Tuesday, April 25. Lynnfield will face a Tigers team coming off a 7-2 league loss to Hamilton-Wenham Regional (South Hamilton, MA). The Tigers record now stands at 1-4.
Next, the Big Blue face the Saugus Sachems (Saugus, MA) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, April 26. Swampscott will attempt to move on its 1-7 season record. The Sachems enter the bout with a 1-7 record after their 7-4 non-league loss to Shawsheen Valley Tech (Billerica, MA).
