In Saturday's non-league game, the host Morris Redskins baseball team scored a tight 8-2 victory over the Pontiac Indians.
The Redskins (15-3) will now prepare for their game against Plano (Plano, IL). The Reapers go into the Interstate Eight game with a 3-15 record. In their last game, Plano was overwhelmed by Kaneland (Maple Park, IL), 14-2, in a league game.
The Indians (9-7) will now prepare for their game against Monticello (Monticello, IL). The Sages go into the Illini Prairie game with a 11-4 record. In their last game, Monticello was overwhelmed by Paxton-Buckley-Loda (Paxton, IL), 9-3, in a league game.
