In Saturday's non-league game, the visiting Washburn Millers baseball team scored a tight 11-5 victory over the Tri-City United [Montgomery-Lonsdale/Le Center] Titans.
The Millers (1-0) will now prepare for their game against Edison (Minneapolis, MN). The Tommies go into the Minneapolis City game with a 1-1 record.
The Titans (1-1) will now prepare for their game against Mayer Lutheran (Mayer, MN). The Crusaders go into the Minnesota River game with a 0-4 record. In their last game, Mayer Lutheran was overwhelmed by Central (Norwood-Young America, MN), 12-2, in a league game.
