In Saturday's non-league battle, the visiting Maine South Hawks volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Fremd Vikings.
The Hawks (1-1) will now prepare for their battle against Maine East (Park Ridge, IL). The Blue Demons come into the non-league battle with a 10-0 record. In their last battle, Maine East achieved victory over Highland Park (Highland Park, IL), 2-1, in a league battle.
