The Lockport Porters soccer team scored 8 points and limited the visiting Homewood-Flossmoor Vikings to 0 in the Porters league victory on Saturday.
Next, the Porters face the Lincoln-Way East Griffins (Frankfort, IL) in a SouthWest Suburban Blue contest, on Tuesday, April 25. Lockport will attempt to better on its 11-2 season record. The Griffins enter the contest with a 12-2 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Glenbard West (Glen Ellyn, IL).
The Vikings now have a 4-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Bloom for a non-league contest on Monday, April 24. Homewood-Flossmoor will face a Blazing Trojan team coming off a 9-1 non-league loss to Mother McAuley (Chicago, IL). The Blazing Trojan record now stands at 7-6.
