Wheat Ridge Farmers (Wheat Ridge, CO) supporters were pleased Saturday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the host Juneau-Douglas Crimson Bears (Juneau, AK), 7-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Farmers confront the D'Evelyn Jaguars (Denver, CO) in a 4A Jefferson County challenge, on Tuesday, April 25. Wheat Ridge will attempt to move on its 8-4 season record. The Jaguars enter the challenge with a 5-6 record after their 2-1 league win over Evergreen (Evergreen, CO).
The Crimson Bears now possess a 4-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Bettye Davis East Anchorage for a non-league challenge on Thursday, April 27. Juneau-Douglas will confront a Thunderbirds team coming off a 6-0 league loss to Dimond (Anchorage, AK). The Thunderbirds record now stands at 1-2.
