In Saturday's non-league battle, the visiting St. Joseph's Academy Angels soccer squad scored a close 4-1 win over the Sacred Heart-Griffin Cyclones.
The Angels (18-0) will now prepare for their battle against Neosho (Neosho, MO). The Wildcats go into the non-league battle with a 4-6 record. In their last battle, Neosho by Wheaton (Wheaton, MO), 8-0, in a non-league battle.
The Cyclones (6-6) will now prepare for their battle against Normal University (Normal, IL). The Pioneers go into the Central State Eight battle with a 7-6 record. In their last battle, Normal University nipped South Elgin (South Elgin, IL), 1-0, in a non-league battle.
