Connecticut High School Lacrosse - Granby Memorial can't get by Bacon Academy

In Saturday's non-league test, the host Bacon Academy Bobcats lacrosse squad scored a tight 8-7 victory over the Granby Memorial Bears.
The Bobcats now have a 6-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to East Lyme for a non-league test on Tuesday, April 25. Bacon Academy will face a Vikings squad coming off a 17-9 non-league loss to Xavier (Middletown, CT). The Vikings record now stands at 4-4.
In their next game, the Bears face the Canton Warriors (Canton, CT) in a North Central Connecticut test, on Tuesday, April 25. Granby Memorial will attempt to move on its 1-4 season record. The Warriors come into the test with a 1-3 record after their 8-7 league loss to Ellington (Ellington, CT).
