Big Walnut Golden Eagles (Sunbury, OH) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad top the visiting Johnstown-Monroe Johnnies (Johnstown, OH), 20-2 in a non-league test.
The Golden Eagles now have a 3-9 record. They take the field next when they host Bexley for a non-league test on Tuesday, April 25. Big Walnut will face a Lions squad coming off a 16-0 league loss to St. Francis DeSales (Columbus, OH). The Lions record now stands at 3-7.
In their next game, the Johnnies face the Lima Senior Spartans (Lima, OH) in a Region 7 test, on Friday, April 28. Johnstown-Monroe will attempt to move on its 1-9 season record. The Spartans come into the test with a 0-10 record after their 6-1 non-league loss to Xenia (Xenia, OH).
