Hempfield Black Knights (Landisville, PA) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad top the visiting Cumberland Valley Eagles (Mechanicsburg, PA), 17-7 in a non-league test.

The Black Knights now have a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they host Penn Manor for a Lancaster-Lebanon test on Wednesday, April 26.

In their next game, the Eagles face the Central Dauphin East Panthers (Harrisburg, PA) in a Mid-Penn test, on Tuesday, April 25. Cumberland Valley will attempt to move on its 7-4 season record. The Panthers come into the test with a 2-8 record after their 9-0 non-league win over Mifflin County (Lewistown, PA).
