The Andrean Fighting 59ers softball team scored 12 runs and limited the visiting Lafayette Central Catholic Knights to 2 in the Fighting 59ers non-league triumph on Saturday.

With the triumph, Andrean moves its record to 11-5 on the year. The Fighting 59ers host Munster (Munster, IN) to clash with the Mustangs in a Northwest Crossroads game on Monday, April 24. The Mustangs come into the game with a record of 8-9. Munster won 9-6 in their recent league game against Highland (Highland, IN)

In their next game, the Knights clash with the Guerin Catholic Golden Eagles (Noblesville, IN) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, April 25. Lafayette Central Catholic will attempt to move on its 3-7 season record. The Golden Eagles come into the game with a 2-6 record after their 12-11 non-league win over Warren Central (Indianapolis, IN).
