New York High School Softball - Berne-Knox-Westerlo loses to Averill Park

The Averill Park Warriors softball team scored 20 runs and limited the host Berne-Knox-Westerlo Bulldogs to 3 in the Warriors non-league triumph on Saturday.
With the triumph, Averill Park moves its record to 8-4 on the year. The Warriors travel to Shaker (Latham, NY) to clash with the Bison in a Section 2 Suburban - Blue game on Monday, April 24. The Bison come into the game with a record of 3-4.
In their next game, the Bulldogs clash with the Colonie Central Raiders (Albany, NY) in a non-league game, on Saturday, April 22. Berne-Knox-Westerlo will attempt to move on its 2-2 season record. The Raiders come into the game with a 5-1 record after their 4-3 league win over Shenendehowa (Clifton Park, NY).
