Barrington Fillies/Broncos (Barrington, IL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Washington Panthers (Washington, IL), 19-3 in a non-league challenge.

The Fillies/Broncos now own a 12-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Fremd for a Mid-Suburban West challenge on Monday, April 24. Barrington will face a Vikings squad coming off a 14-4 league win over Palatine (Palatine, IL). The Vikings record now stands at 11-4.

With the loss, Washington falls to 10-4 on the campaign. The Panthers host Morton (Morton, IL) to face the Potters in a Mid-Illini challenge on Tuesday, April 25. The Potters enter the challenge with a record of 4-6. Morton won 18-8 in their recent non-league challenge against Richwoods (Peoria, IL)
