Spectators at Saturday's non-league match between the Bellmont Braves (Decatur, IN) and the visiting Caston Comets (Fulton, IN), witnessed Bellmont's softball squad tip Caston by a count of 10-3.

The Braves now sport a 5-6 record. They play next when they host Columbia City for a Northeast Eight match on Monday, April 24. Bellmont will face a Eagles squad coming off a 15-3 non-league win over Manchester (North Manchester, IN). The Eagles record now stands at 8-2.

With the loss, Caston moves to 5-3 on the season. The Comets travel to West Central (Francesville, IN) to face the Trojans in a non-league match on Monday, April 24. The Trojans go into the match with a record of 10-3. West Central won 15-3 in their recent non-league match against Glenn (Walkerton, IN)
