Bloom Blazing Trojan (Chicago Heights, IL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Blue Island Eisenhower Cardinals (Blue Island, IL), 17-2 in a non-league challenge.

The Blazing Trojan now own a 6-8 record. They take the field next when they host Thornridge for a Southland Athletic challenge on Monday, April 24. Bloom will battle a Falcons squad coming off a 15-0 league loss to Rich Township (Olympia Fields, IL). The Falcons record now stands at 0-3.

With the loss, Blue Island Eisenhower falls to 1-9 on the campaign. The Cardinals travel to Reavis (Burbank, IL) to battle the Rams in a South Suburban challenge on Monday, April 24. The Rams enter the challenge with a record of 6-13. Reavis won 7-3 in their recent league challenge against Bremen (Midlothian, IL)
