The Fayetteville-Manlius Hornets got by the visiting Chittenango Bears softball squad by a final score of 3-2 in Saturday's non-league battle.

The Hornets (4-2) will now prepare for their battle against Baldwinsville (Baldwinsville, NY). The Bees go into the Section 3 Central Counties - National battle with a 4-2 record. In their last battle, Baldwinsville was edged by Auburn (Auburn, NY), 5-2, in a league battle.

The Bears now possess a 7-1 record. They play next when they host Christian Brothers Academy for a Section 3 Liberty battle on Tuesday, April 25. Chittenango will meet a Brothers squad coming off a 7-1 league win over Mexico (Mexico, NY). The Brothers record now stands at 2-3.
