In Saturday's non-league contest, the Linden Eagles (Linden, MI) softball team held off the host Clare Pioneers (Clare, MI), by a margin of 5-4.
With the triumph, Linden moves its record to 12-0 on the year. The Eagles travel to Swartz Creek (Swartz Creek, MI) to play the Dragons in a Flint Metro contest on Monday, April 24.
