California High School Softball - Nevada Union bounces Colfax

The Nevada Union Miners routed the host Colfax Falcons softball squad by a final score of 7-2 in Saturday's non-league outing.

Coming up next, the Miners battle the Ponderosa Bruins (Shingle Springs, CA) in a Foothill Valley League outing, on Tuesday, April 25. Nevada Union will attempt to upgrade on its 3-9 season record. The Bruins enter the outing with a 13-2 record after their 20-3 league win over Lincoln (Lincoln, CA).

The Falcons (9-4) will now prepare for their outing against Wheatland (Wheatland, CA). The Pirates enter the Pioneer Valley League outing with a 12-8 record. In their last outing, Wheatland tipped Marysville (Marysville, CA), 10-4, in a league outing.
