Wyoming Area Warriors (Exeter, PA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Dunmore Bucks (Dunmore, PA), 6-5 in a non-league challenge.

The Warriors now own a 5-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Wyoming Seminary College Prep for a Wyoming Valley 4 challenge on Monday, April 24. Wyoming Area will face a Blue Knights squad coming off a 12-2 league loss to Greater Nanticoke Area (Nanticoke, PA). The Blue Knights record now stands at 0-8.

With the loss, Dunmore falls to 4-5 on the campaign. The Bucks travel to Holy Cross (Dunmore, PA) to face the Crusaders in a Lackawanna 3 challenge on Monday, April 24. The Crusaders enter the challenge with a record of 5-4. Holy Cross lost 8-7 in their recent non-league challenge against Wyalusing Valley (Wyalusing, PA)
