Elliot Christian Eagles (Lodi, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Redwood Christian Eagles (San Lorenzo, CA), 8-4 in a non-league challenge.

The Eagles now own a 3-7 record. They take the field next when they host Big Valley Christian for a Central California Athletic Alliance challenge on Thursday, April 27.

With the loss, Redwood Christian falls to 8-6 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to California School for the Deaf (Fremont, CA) to battle the Eagles in a challenge on Tuesday, April 25. The Eagles enter the challenge with a record of 5-2. California School for the Deaf won 21-7 in their recent league challenge against The Bay School (San Francisco, CA)
