Franklin County Wildcats (Brookville, IN) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad run past the host South Bend Riley Wildcats (South Bend, IN), 29-11 in a non-league challenge.

The Wildcats now own a 11-3 record. They take the field next when they host Connersville for a Eastern Indiana challenge on Monday, April 24. Franklin County will battle a Spartans squad coming off a 17-1 league win over Batesville (Batesville, IN). The Spartans record now stands at 10-3.

With the loss, South Bend Riley falls to 9-5 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Jimtown (Elkhart, IN) to battle the Jimmies in a Northern Indiana challenge on Monday, April 24. The Jimmies enter the challenge with a record of 6-1. Jimtown won 9-8 in their recent league challenge against Glenn (Walkerton, IN)
