In Saturday's non-league contest, the Schaumburg Saxons (Schaumburg, IL) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Geneva Vikings (Geneva, IL), by a margin of 13-5.
With the triumph, Schaumburg moves its record to 4-7 on the year. The Saxons travel to Hoffman Estates (Hoffman Estates, IL) to play the Hawks in a Mid-Suburban West contest on Monday, April 24. The Hawks come into the contest with a record of 1-11.
