Indiana High School Softball - Leo bounces Wawasee

The Leo Lions (Leo, IN) softball routed the host Wawasee Warriors (Syracuse, IN), 17-6 in Saturday's non-league bout.

The Lions (13-0) will now prepare for their bout against Norwell (Ossian, IN). The Knights go into the Northeast Eight bout with a 5-3 record. In their last bout, Norwell was routed by Adams Central (Monroe, IN), 11-6, in a non-league bout.

The Warriors now possess a 8-5 record. They play next when they host Plymouth for a Northern Lakes bout on Wednesday, April 26. Wawasee will confront a Pilgrims/Rockies squad coming off a 7-3 league loss to Goshen (Goshen, IN). The Pilgrims/Rockies record now stands at 5-8.
