Lincoln-Way West Warriors (New Lenox, IL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Romeoville Spartans (Romeoville, IL), 17-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Warriors now own a 11-6 record. They take the field next when they host Stagg for a SouthWest Suburban challenge on Tuesday, April 25. Lincoln-Way West will battle a Chargers squad coming off a 12-2 league loss to Andrew (Tinley Park, IL). The Chargers record now stands at 2-12.

With the loss, Romeoville falls to 2-8 on the campaign. The Spartans host Oswego (Oswego, IL) to battle the Panthers in a Suburban Prairie - South outing on Monday, April 24. The Panthers enter the outing with a record of 11-4. Oswego lost 8-1 in their recent league outing against Oswego East (Oswego, IL)
