New York High School Softball - Massena edged by Saranac

In Saturday's non-league outing, the host Saranac Chiefs softball team scored a close 7-6 win over the Massena Red Raiders.

Coming up next, the Chiefs battle the Northern Adirondack Bobcats (Ellenburg Depot, NY) in a Section 7 Champlain Valley I outing, on Monday, April 24. Saranac will attempt to upgrade on its 5-0 season record. The Bobcats enter the outing with a 2-2 record after their 9-8 league loss to Ticonderoga (Ticonderoga, NY).

The Red Raiders (1-4) will now prepare for their outing against Potsdam (Potsdam, NY). The Sandstoners enter the Section 10 Central outing with a 0-2 record. In their last outing, Potsdam was tipped by Gouverneur (Gouverneur, NY), 22-0, in a league outing.
