Spectators at Saturday's non-league match between the Sparkman Senators (Harvest, AL) and the visiting McNairy Central Bobcats (Selmer, TN), witnessed Sparkman's softball squad tip McNairy Central by a count of 3-0.

The Senators now sport a 27-12 record. They play next when they host Ardmore for a non-league match on Monday, April 24. Sparkman will face a Tigers squad coming off a 10-4 non-league loss to Oak Mountain (Birmingham, AL). The Tigers record now stands at 19-13.

With the loss, McNairy Central moves to 13-7 on the season. The Bobcats travel to Hardin County (Savannah, TN) to face the Tigers in a 3A District 11 match on Tuesday, April 25. The Tigers go into the match with a record of 5-6. Hardin County won 9-0 in their recent league match against Chester County (Henderson, TN)
