Morris Redskins (Morris, IL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Streator Bulldogs (Streator, IL), 4-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Redskins now own a 14-4 record. They take the field next when they host Kaneland for a Interstate Eight challenge on Monday, April 24. Morris will face a Knights squad coming off a 12-1 non-league loss to Barrington (Barrington, IL). The Knights record now stands at 5-8.

With the loss, Streator falls to 7-8 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Manteno (Manteno, IL) to face the Panthers in a Illinois Central Eight challenge on Monday, April 24. The Panthers enter the challenge with a record of 12-6. Manteno won 9-8 in their recent non-league challenge against Marquette (Ottawa, IL)
