Spectators at Saturday's non-league match between the Southern Huntingdon County Rockets (Three Springs, PA) and the visiting Tyrone Golden Eagles (Tyrone, PA), witnessed Southern Huntingdon County's softball squad tip Tyrone by a count of 7-6.

The Rockets now sport a 9-2 record. They play next when they travel to Northern Bedford County for a Sideling Hill match on Tuesday, April 25. Southern Huntingdon County will face a Panthers squad coming off a 5-3 league loss to Tussey Mountain (Saxton, PA). The Panthers record now stands at 3-7.

With the loss, Tyrone moves to 2-5 on the season. The Golden eagles travel to Bellefonte (Bellefonte, PA) to face the Raiders in a Mountain - Allegheny match on Monday, April 24.
