The Shakamak Lakers baseball team (Jasonville, IN), was overwhelmed 8-2 in Monday's non-league outing with the host Bedford North Lawrence Stars (Bedford, IN)
The Stars now hold a 8-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Columbus East for a Hoosier Hills outing on Tuesday, April 23. Bedford North Lawrence will confront a Olympians team coming off a 9-8 non-league win over Martinsville (Martinsville, IN). The Olympians record now stands at 4-11.
Next, the Lakers confront the Eastern Greene Thunderbirds (Bloomfield, IN) in a Southwestern Indiana outing, on Tuesday, April 23. Shakamak will attempt to advance on its 7-5 season record. The Thunderbirds go into the outing with a 8-1 record after their 12-2 league win over North Central (Farmersburg, IN).
