The Neptune Scarlet Fliers got by the visiting Lacey Township Lions baseball team by a count of 1-0 in Monday's non-league bout.
The Scarlet Fliers now possess a 1-10 record. They take the field next when they travel to Red Bank Regional for a Shore - B North bout on Tuesday, April 23. Neptune will face a Bucs team coming off a 7-5 non-league loss to Wall Township (Wall, NJ). The Bucs record now stands at 4-5.
Next, the Lions face the Point Pleasant Boro Panthers (Point Pleasant, NJ) in a Shore - B South bout, on Wednesday, April 24. Lacey Township will attempt to move on its 5-5 season record. The Panthers enter the bout with a 7-2 record after their 7-0 league win over Barnegat (Barnegat, NJ).
