The Triad Knights (Troy, IL) soccer nipped the visiting Belleville West Maroons (Belleville, IL), 1-0 in Monday's non-league bout.
With the victory, Triad moves its record to 11-4 on the year. The Knights travel to Waterloo (Waterloo, IL) to confront the Bulldogs in a Mississippi Valley bout on Thursday, April 25. The Bulldogs enter the bout with a record of 9-3. Waterloo won 8-0 in their recent league bout against Jersey (Jerseyville, IL)
In their next game, the Maroons confront the Marist RedHawks (Chicago, IL) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, April 25. Belleville West will attempt to move on its 6-11 season record. The RedHawks enter the bout with a 8-6 record after their 7-0 league win over Marian Catholic (Chicago Heights, IL).
