Glenbard East Rams (Lombard, IL) fans were pleased Monday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting Glenbard North Panthers (Carol Stream, IL), 2-1 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Rams confront the Streamwood Sabres (Streamwood, IL) in a Upstate Eight challenge, on Tuesday, April 23. Glenbard East will attempt to better on its 4-4 season record. The Sabres enter the challenge with a 1-10 record after their 5-0 non-league loss to Schaumburg (Schaumburg, IL).
The Panthers now have a 8-5 record. They take the field next when they host Romeoville for a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 27.
