The Archbishop Wood Vikings baseball team scored 23 runs and limited the visiting Germantown Academy Patriots to 17 in the Vikings non-league victory on Monday.

The Vikings (5-2) will now prepare for their match against Monsignor Bonner/Archbishop Prendergast Catholic (Drexel Hill, PA). The Friars/Pandas go into the match with a 4-1 record. In their last match, Monsignor Bonner/Archbishop Prendergast Catholic edged La Salle College (Wyndmoor, PA), 8-6, in a league match.

The Patriots (1-2) will now prepare for their match against Springside Chestnut Hill Academy (Philadelphia, PA). The Blue Devils go into the match with a 3-7 record. In their last match, Springside Chestnut Hill Academy was overwhelmed by Malvern Prep (Malvern, PA), 10-2, in a league match.
