In Monday's non-league match, the host Hampton Talbots softball team scored a nice 15-0 victory over the Ambridge Bridgers.

The Talbots (8-1) will now prepare for their match against North Catholic (Cranberry Township, PA). The Trojans go into the WPIAL 3A 1 match with a 0-1 record. In their last match, North Catholic was routed by Chartiers Valley (Bridgeville, PA), 17-3, in a league match.

In their next game, the Bridgers battle the Chartiers Valley Colts (Bridgeville, PA) in a WPIAL 4A 3 match, on Wednesday, April 24. Ambridge will attempt to better on its 0-4 season record. The Colts go into the match with a 7-2 record after their 15-3 league win over Beaver (Beaver, PA).
